N°01LED Video Wall↗N°02Self-Service Kiosk↗N°03Chip-on-Board↗N°04µLED↗N°05External display↗N°06LED Mesh↗N°07Multitouch Table↗
LED Wall
An LED wall is a modular screen made of thousands of individual light-emitting diodes that is self-illuminating without backlighting, enabling higher brightness and more flexible formats than an LCD display.
Kiosk Systems
Kiosk systems are standalone interactive terminals with touchscreens that provide self-service functions in public or semi-public environments – from ticket purchases and ordering to check-ins.
COB LED
COB (Chip-on-Board) is an LED packaging technology where the individual LED chips are bonded directly onto the substrate and covered with a protective resin layer — it enables finer pixel pitches, higher robustness, and wider viewing angles than older SMD technology.
MicroLED
MicroLED refers to self-emissive displays made of microscopically small inorganic LEDs (edge length < 100 µm) that provide deep blacks, extreme brightness, and a very long service life without burn-in, all without backlighting or organic OLED materials.
Outdoor Display
An outdoor display is a screen engineered for permanent outdoor use with an IP protection rating (at least IP65), high-brightness panel (≥ 2,500 nits), active climate control, and UV-stable materials — built for years of 24/7 operation in wind, rain, frost, and sun.
Transparent LED
Transparent LEDs are LED modules with high light permeability (typically 65–90%) that display image content on glass surfaces, shop windows, or architectural facades without completely blocking the view through the surface.
Touch Table
A touch table is a horizontally installed multitouch screen (typically 43–86 inches) with toughened glass, designed for multiple simultaneous users in workshops, showrooms, museums, and conferences.
Technologie04
N°01Pitch↗N°02Switchable Glass↗N°03Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal↗N°04cd/m²↗
Pixel Pitch
Pixel pitch refers to the distance between the centres of two adjacent pixels on an LED wall in millimetres and is the most important metric for image sharpness, minimum viewing distance, and investment costs.
Smart Glass
Smart Glass is a glass pane with an embedded film whose transparency can be electrically switched between milky-opaque and crystal-clear — within fractions of a second and without any mechanical components.
PDLC
PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) is the most widely used smart glass technology, in which liquid crystals dispersed in a polymer matrix allow light to pass through when AC voltage is applied and scatter it when no voltage is present.
Nits (Brightness)
Nits (cd/m², candela per square metre) are the SI unit for the luminance of a display — they describe how much light a screen surface emits in a specific direction and are the decisive metric for readability under various ambient lighting conditions.
Markt03
N°01Digital Signage↗N°02Digital Out-of-Home↗N°03Digital Wayfinding↗
Digital Signage
Digital signage refers to centrally controlled display networks in public or semi-public spaces that broadcast content in a location-specific, time-controlled, and data-dependent manner via a Content Management System (CMS).
DOOH
DOOH (Digital Out-of-Home) refers to ad-financed digital screens in public spaces whose advertising slots are marketed with second-by-second precision, data-driven, and increasingly programmatically via platforms such as Vistar, Hivestack or Broadsign.
Wayfinding
Wayfinding refers to digital or analogue guidance systems that help orient people in complex buildings or public spaces — from railway departure boards to interactive hospital touch kiosks.
